Start with a simple pull-on woven darted dress with a beautifully shaped V neckline, gored skirt with roomy pockets, optional sleeves, and an elasticated drawstring with fun tassels you can make yourself. Then customize your Loring with ruffles at the neckline, skirt and/or sleeves to create the exact level of drama you want.

0-32 in three cup sizes (C/D, E/F, G/H). Includes 33-62” bust and 35-62” hip. Find your size in seconds using our .

Separate files for both size ranges (0-16 and 12-32) are included.

RECOMMENDED FABRIC

Lightweight but crisp woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, cotton poplin, lightweight linen.

NOTE: Choose your fabric based on how defined you would like your ruffles. If you use a very lightweight drapey fabric, the skirt will have more drape but the ruffles will be less dynamic. If you want your ruffles to hold their shape, you will want a fabric with more crispness, and also this will make for a fuller skirt.

NOTIONS

Universal or microtex needle, thread, hand sewing needle, 1 yard (0.9 m) of ½” wide (12 mm) wide elastic for waist, scrap of fusible interfacing - approximately 1” x 2” (2.5 cm x 5 cm).
