This woven storage basket is handmade by artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda and *measures 8" in diameter and 8.5" tall when closed (holds a 6-7" plant). The women grow their own sisal plants, extract the fibers, then hand-dye and weave them into these beautiful works of art. The sisal is woven around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle sweetness.
Use these African baskets as a storage basket, a plant holder, or to brighten up a space! Plant not included.
*Due to the handmade nature of these baskets, sizing is approximate.
